The UK Cyber Security Threat Landscape_

As part of the UKsec Annual Report, we look at the evolution of the cyber threat landscape, including notable trends such as:

43% of UK businesses and 30% of charities reported experiencing a cyber breach or attack in the past year.

In 2025, the average cost of a serious cyber breach for a UK medium-sized business is estimated at £4.3 million.

UK businesses experienced an average of 183,221 cyberattacks each in Q1 2025, with an attempted breach occurring approximately every 43 seconds.
